For the third year in a row I’ve had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful family.  This year we headed back to the park where it all started.  I’ve learned that this place has become special to them, which makes me so happy!

The H family is wonderfully photogenic, I’m going to let the images speak for themselves.

And the best part of this family…they know how to keep it real.  After we’d finished up with portraits, the kids wanted to catch frogs.  Mom and Dad were in on the fun, clothing got dirty and no one minded a bit.  I love families who laugh and have fun.

Thank you H family for a fun-filled morning!  Until next year…

I met up with this family at one of my favorite parks in the Twin Cities…Minnehaha.

Lookit the curls!!!  I might be a bit jealous.  🙂

She is such a doll!

I love daddies with their girls!

Sweet family!

Thanks H family for spending your morning with me!

8 years ago this month Emily and I “met” on a parenting message board for mothers to be.  We’ve maintained that friendship through the birth of our firstborns, career changes, more kids (3 between us), new homes and more.  Emily and her family drove from the east cost this summer for a family wedding.  They stopped in the Twin Cities for a little fun before the drive home and we were able to sneak in a session.

Daniel, Daniel, Daniel.  He is a total hoot and definitely kept me on my toes.  He’s 3 and his mom is a photographer…extra challenging.

But totally adorable!

Noah!  He and my Caroline are the reason Emily and I met.  It’s been so fun to watch him grow.

Happy Family!

Notice Daniel’s fingers.  I told him that if I took one more step back I would fall in the lake right behind me.  His response, “take TWO!”

Even exiting the park, goofball is in full force.

Thanks Emily, Josh, Noah and Daniel for stopping in to visit!  It was so nice to finally meet all of you!

After two rained out sessions this family and I were finally able to meet at one of my favorites spots to capture some images of their 19 month old twin boys.  They are such a sweet, loving family!

A was a total charmer!

L preferred his mama’s arms except for bubble time!  He was a big fan!

Nothing sweeter than a daddy totally in love with his kids!

And last, I cannot resist the sweet curls!!

Thank you N family for a lovely morning!

One of the best parts of my job…holding and snuggling sweet newborns!

Teeny, tiny perfection.

Her gorgeous big sister (who I photographed as a newborn a little over a year ago) is the apple of her daddy’s eye.

The gorgeous family!

Thank you A family for sharing your newest little one with me!  Congratulations, she is beautiful!

On what may have been one of the very last (boo) nice fall days this year I had the pleasure of spending the morning with the H family (yay).  They are such a joy to work with…the love and affection they have for one another is such a pleasure to capture.

Thank you H family for a great morning!

I am so excited to introduce two new beautiful photography products!

The first is a custom image box.  This is a personal and upscale way to store your favorite images from your session.  Each box is custom designed to your specifications with  session images.   Tucked inside are 5×7 bordered proofs.

I loved this sample so much I plan on ordering one for myself and putting all my favorite photos of my family in it through out the year.  What a wonderful keepsake!

Die cut holiday cards are here!  These are the latest in press printed greeting card options.  They are unique and so lovely!

Shown are the die cut ornate collection.  Additional options include 5×5 scalloped square, 5×7 scalloped rectangle, scalloped circle and circle.  The circle cards can be printed with a hold punched on top, simply add a ribbon and send your family and friends an ornament card for the holidays!!  A unique way to send your holiday greetings!

Earlier this summer one of my besties came for a visit bringing along her two beautiful girlies.  Amy and I met in college, pledged the same sorority and were instant friends.  She moved back to Wisconsin a few years ago and we miss her and her family so!

Miss E, is she not the prettiest little thing?

These two photos just make me smile, such a typical 3 year old!

And little sister, also a Miss E.  Is she not the most gorgeous, picture perfect baby?  Rosy skin, bright blue eyes, chubby roles just where they should be, and that red hair!!!!

I can’t get enough of those eyes!

Mama and her girlies.

Amy thanks for a great visit and come again soon!

S and I are members of the same mother’s of multiples group here in the Twin Cities.  It was so wonderful to finally meet her sweet kiddos I’ve heard so much about!!

Both M and B are blessed with the MOST amazing long lashes and beautiful dark eyes!

I loved seeing how in tune these two were to each other, and clearly how much the love one another!

Plans hatched.  So proud of the results!!

B is a total nature lover.  I’ve never seen any child, let alone a little girl, so in LOVE with animals…bugs, birds and toads.  It didn’t matter.  We stumbled upon teeny tiny toads and she carefully picked one up and gave it a kiss.  Alas, no prince.

Two more I can’t resist…

Mr. Heartbreaker!

And pure joy!

Thank you S, M and B for a lovely morning!

I had the pleasure of meeting Miss Q and her mama in March at a portrait day event.  I was so excited when K called me to do 1 year photos of Q on her birthday!!

The birthday girl herself!  Even cuter than the last time we met!  (The little bench she is sitting on belonged to my husband’s grandmother.  I’m so glad it was saved for me to use, I think Grandma Beulah would be pleased!).

Having fun with mama!

I just love taking multi-generational portraits!  Q with her great-grandma, two beautiful ladies!

Cake smash…just the beginning.

Happy Birthday beautiful girl!

Thank you H family for having me over on your daughter’s special day!
