Favorite Family | Minneapolis Family Photographer

For the third year in a row I’ve had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful family.  This year we headed back to the park where it all started.  I’ve learned that this place has become special to them, which makes me so happy!

The H family is wonderfully photogenic, I’m going to let the images speak for themselves.

 

And the best part of this family…they know how to keep it real.  After we’d finished up with portraits, the kids wanted to catch frogs.  Mom and Dad were in on the fun, clothing got dirty and no one minded a bit.  I love families who laugh and have fun.

Friends from afar | Minneapolis Family Photographer

8 years ago this month Emily and I “met” on a parenting message board for mothers to be.  We’ve maintained that friendship through the birth of our firstborns, career changes, more kids (3 between us), new homes and more.  Emily and her family drove from the east cost this summer for a family wedding.  They stopped in the Twin Cities for a little fun before the drive home and we were able to sneak in a session.

Daniel, Daniel, Daniel.  He is a total hoot and definitely kept me on my toes.  He’s 3 and his mom is a photographer…extra challenging.

But totally adorable!

Noah!  He and my Caroline are the reason Emily and I met.  It’s been so fun to watch him grow.

Happy Family!

Notice Daniel’s fingers.  I told him that if I took one more step back I would fall in the lake right behind me.  His response, “take TWO!”

Even exiting the park, goofball is in full force.

Sweet Family | Minneapolis Child Photographer

After two rained out sessions this family and I were finally able to meet at one of my favorites spots to capture some images of their 19 month old twin boys.  They are such a sweet, loving family!

Fantastic Duo | Minneapolis Children’s Photographer

S and I are members of the same mother’s of multiples group here in the Twin Cities.  It was so wonderful to finally meet her sweet kiddos I’ve heard so much about!!

Both M and B are blessed with the MOST amazing long lashes and beautiful dark eyes!

I loved seeing how in tune these two were to each other, and clearly how much the love one another!

Plans hatched.  So proud of the results!!

B is a total nature lover.  I’ve never seen any child, let alone a little girl, so in LOVE with animals…bugs, birds and toads.  It didn’t matter.  We stumbled upon teeny tiny toads and she carefully picked one up and gave it a kiss.  Alas, no prince.

Birthday Girl | Minneapolis, MN Children’s Photographer

I had the pleasure of meeting Miss Q and her mama in March at a portrait day event.  I was so excited when K called me to do 1 year photos of Q on her birthday!!

The birthday girl herself!  Even cuter than the last time we met!  (The little bench she is sitting on belonged to my husband’s grandmother.  I’m so glad it was saved for me to use, I think Grandma Beulah would be pleased!).

Sons | Minneapolis Baby Photographer

Every baby is a blessing.

Twins are a double blessing.

And these two are an extra special, double blessing!

I was able to sneak in a session for 3 month olds T and M.  Their family was so wonderful to work with.  Love abounds in their home!!

LOVE 3 month old smiles!!  M did not disappoint!

I am totally smitten by babies sucking their thumbs.  I don’t think there are many things sweeter.

Mom described T as “very chill.”  And he was, happy and content little guy!!

Proud big brother A had to bring out his favorite animals and tell me all about them.  I couldn’t resist taking this, my own girls always ask for photos of their animals!

Lots of love in this house

L’s Grandma contacted me way back in February about doing a session for him.  It was so nice to finally meet her and her family.  The house was full of love for this little boy…mom and dad, grandparents and an aunt.

I don’t know what is more adorable about this little guy…his eyes, cheeks, or wispy little hair!

They do not come any more adorable than this.
